Who I Never Got to Thank

To the pretty, blonde girl,

In the pretty shirt blue,

Who hick-ups and coughs,

Like she’s fighting a flu.

I wanted to thank you,

For smiling this way,

For your eyes and expression,

Have ‘bout made my day.

I am writing a paper,

That will last through next night,

And give me carpal tunnel,

In my left and my right.

Just… thank you for looking,

And smiling at me,
